BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE EXTENSION PROJECT
NIDE Biotec was conceived with the goal of fostering multidisciplinarity among students from the undergraduate Biotechnology program and the Graduate Program in Biochemistry at UFC. In the short term, the aim is to develop biotechnology innovation projects that meet market demands, particularly at the regional level.
Additionally, the extension project seeks to map and actively participate in national and international competitions in biotechnology and biochemistry. All group activities are shared with the community through the project’s social media platforms, particularly Instagram, where we plan to invest heavily in training a Marketing and Digital Design team to expand audience engagement.
The project is expected to generate social impact and contribute to the development of the biotechnology sector in Ceará. It also aims to enhance students’ professional training and qualifications, ensuring better positioning in the job market. Furthermore, the project seeks to expand students’ networking and know-how, enabling the creation and promotion of short courses and workshops.
