Guidelines for Receiving Theses and Dissertations at UFC
The University Library (BU) collects and disseminates theses and dissertations defended at UFC through the Institutional Repository (RI) and the online catalog (Pergamum), both available for public access. Digital dissemination of theses and dissertations produced by recognized master’s and doctoral programs is a key criterion in the evaluation of postgraduate courses.

Cataloging Form
To streamline the cataloging process for publications, the UFC Library System Normalization Committee provides the Cataloging Form Creation Module. This tool was developed by librarian Felipe Ferreira da Silva from UFC’s Crateús Campus, based on source code provided by the Library of the Institute of Mathematical and Computing Sciences at USP.
Cataloging in Publication (cataloging form) is a mandatory element of academic works. It provides detailed bibliographic information, such as authorship, title, publisher, publication year, ISBN/ISSN, and subjects, in compliance with the Anglo-American Cataloguing Rules (AACR2). The cataloging form will be generated based on user-inputted data, and users are fully responsible for the accuracy of the information provided.
