With support from CAPES-PROEX resources, faculty and students from PPG Biochemistry-UFC participate in the Brazilian Congress of Plant Physiology, in Viçosa-MG. Several works will be presented in the form of oral presentations and posters. Two alumni from PPG-Biochemistry were the top two winners of the Moacyr Maestri Award at the 19th Brazilian Congress of Plant Physiology.

Professor Danilo Daloso participated in the 46th New Phytologist Symposium Stomata, in Kaifeng, China. This is the largest event on stomata, organized by the New Phytologist Foundation and Henan University. Prof. Danilo will give a lecture on the studies developed by his group, a result of the work of students from the PPG-BIOCHEMISTRY-UFC. PhD student from PPG Biochemistry-UFC, Fernanda Azevedo, is conducting a sandwich PhD at Lancaster University, United Kingdom, with support from CAPES.

PhD student from the PPG Biochemistry-UFC, Fernanda Azevedo, is conducting a sandwich PhD at Lancaster University, United Kingdom, with support from CAPES. Fernanda will develop a project focused on PI3K proteins as a therapeutic target in oncology to combat immune evasion.
